Carroll will start against Wigan, Kenny is just using his squad IMO, I can see Henderson coming in for the next game as well. Slightly disappointed seeing Adam there.

This is the sort of game that Carroll should be starting - QPR are **** and a couple of goals against them would do his confidence wonders.

Carroll needs games as sitting on the bench will not do him any good.

I am not sure that squad argument really is applicable here as Stevie is playing and Suarez as well as Downing.

I get that Kenny is responsible for featuring the best team he thinks has the best chance to win this game but imo there is no doubt that dropping Carroll again will not help him with his already shaken confidence.
