never ever will i forget THAT GOAL vs. chelsea

    best of luck luis
Done to death obviously, but did I see on Sky recently a computer generated replay of the goal and it actually wasn’t over the line?

I fear I’m setting myself up for a Bender here and it isn’t even my birthday until October.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Ha ha, well from where I was sitting Gudjohnson’s shot was a goal too, so I couldn’t really trust my own eyes that night.

I absolutely loved him and was upset when he left. I still believe plenty of the passes he put into open areas where no one was shouldnt of been his fault. He was used to playing like that at Barcelona. Majority of our players didnt have the trickery to expect that sort of thing. Imagine him in the current squad with Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge.

It was given. No amount of technology will change the fact. It WAS a goal

Was sat at the top of the main stand at that game and when that goal flew in the stand erupted, one of my favourite goals too. Although 'that' goal against the Chavs was awesome too. I was sat right next to the press box for that, what an atmosphere that day. We were all dancing on the seats after. Awesome memories

Can be a frustrating player to watch during his time with us but after seeing Downing pass the buck and shirk his responsibilities constantly I've toned down by criticisms of players like Luis. Much prefer a player who has the ball to try and fail than to not try at all.

Wish him the best in retirement

Downing was a vole. I have fond memories of Garcia, he was a great little player and scored some legendary goals!
