I hear Rafa is available. We've stabilised after the Yanks, we need a vision now.

A joke of a selection. Don't forget, before Skrtel was pushed to left CB to accommodate Carragher he was pushed out to right back to accommodate Carragher, and was only allowed to form one of the best defensive partnerships with Agger when Carragher picked up an injury.

Kenny was the right call to take over from that ****ing idiot Roy but I'm personally getting more and more convinced that in terms of going to the next level we may want evaluate our options.

Carragher is past his sell by date. Ther is TOO MUCH sentiment. Coates should be playing

We just need a plan, right now it all seems pretty clueless.

The problems were created in the summer. Everyone could see we needed a replacement for Lucas, but we didn't get one. Everyone could see we needed someone to score goals, and we didn't get one.

I don't know if we didn't have the money, or the manager / back-room felt we could get by without them, but it was a major mistake.

Although in saying all that, we might be better off without those signings given the quality of our last batch.

I don't think it was so much the case in the summer, but January certainly
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Of course we've missed Lucas, he's one of the mainstays of our 1st team, but Comolli / Dalglish could've replaced him in the winter window, but inexcuseably didn't ?? I appreciate attracting a quality player in the winter window is tough - but we should've been moving heaven and earth to bolster our squad - but didn't ???

Manure lost Fletcher for a long time, did they miss him?? Did they ****..because they've a squad good enough not to worry (or complain) about the longterm loss of one player...(and believe me, it pains me to type that, i hate them *******s passionately)

Where to now??? We're like a ship drifting in the sea at the minute....Unbelievable ****e

As far as the Cups goes, that means nothing...If Kenny or anyone else hold them up as a bright light in this season, then they are seriously diluded...

We're lucky there is a top quality manager out there willing to come back and help us out.. Even after the way he was treated by this club. Not a single man out there that would take the job come close to Rafa.. Nowhere near the same pedigree to boot.

we needed a replacement for lucas in the summer? really?

its unfortunate but when you have a player like lucas that is so good in his role, its almost impossible to have another good enough replacement at the club. its like if your keeper gets injured how many have a quality back up? if we had a similar player to lucas at the club and lucas doesn't do his knee in, lucas plays all our games. the back up wouldn't get a look in. how many quality players will be happy on the bench? that was the one position that a season ender has ****ed us over. you can't allow for it.

                            Absolutely.

Even though January market is usually tough in terms of finding right opportunities imo we should have improved in 2 areas. DM and a striker.

We all knew Lucas had the long term injury and was gone for the entire season and yet again we chose not to address DM area as Kenny thought Jay was good enough to carry the team for the rest of the season and he also thought that Carroll will prove his worth so he waived the new striking options.

And then he mismanaged him pretty badly.

The sad thing for me is if we win the fa cup I can see Kenny getting another season and I honestly don't think he deserves it regarldess of how well he's done in cups. The league is the most important tournament as was said when Rafa was here. It shouldn't change just because Kenny is the manager. That's called double standards in my book.

The mistake was made last summer when Kenny decided that one defensive midfielder of top quality was enough in the squad. Anyone who's played Football Manager knows ****in better than that.
