Exactly, those thinking that a striker is all we are finishing are sadly deluded. Lots of work needs to be done with the squad, especially after the last two summers of pathetic transfer dealings.

That kind of thinking regarding a striker is Football Manager talk. 'Oh we can just buy Cavani, Hazard and Martinez and all will be much better.'

The thing is even getting the pen it isn't for sure we'd have won. And I don't think that one incident is key in the problems that have existed in the team since the turn of the year. We can't let a poor refereeing display mask the issues we currently face. We can't have excuses every week.
