I'm not Maxis biggest fan, but why he didn't get a chance when we were not getting results is beyond me.

I can only think its the Andy Carroll factor. Dalglish wanted width and do sacrificed a player like Maxi who is more of an attacking mid than an out and out winger.

I think Kenny has been too stubborn. He should have reverted back to type (last season) instead of sticking with a style of play that hadn't worked.
