I think we played well bar those howlers (Flannagan and Jones ). We still tried to play and win the game.
    Are we winning?

This must be what it feels like to support a relegation candidate team. It's quite the ride!

        Well done Carroll.

also I thought shelvey and henderson were really good.

Is this where our season turns around and we finish above Everton?? Let's ****ing hope so and Big Andy deserves that winner because I can think of so many times he has ALMOST scored (Aston Villa included) right at the death.

Henderson was excellent, one of our best players. Did really well at right back despite being targeted by their left winger.

what an evening. I log on late due to virgin broadband issues, its 2-0, screen freezes and comes back just in time to see flanagan hit an awful backpass. doni goes off and then jones saves the pen. slow down, saw bellamy and henderson pass to each other and then the power on the laptop dies. laptop needs a new battery and now the power cable is playing up. I check my phone and its 2-1. I then get on the phone to virgin hanging on for 20 mins to complain about the speed or lack of it. had to reset the router settings which the **** at virgin then couldn't get working! basically I missed the rest of the game and we end up winning! ****ing hell. I was in Morocco when we beat Everton. It seems like months since I've actually seen a victory. cunts and bollocks.

ah well. what was the jones second pen all about?

I agree, under the circumstances we did good. I expected to lose after the red card and I thought that our players would fold over like QPR but its nice to see we held our nerve and got the winner.

Bollocks mate, weakened side, players playing out of position, 2 pens against, dodgy keeper, 10 men and an away win against a side fighting for their lives.

Dont give me that 'not a good win' rubbish.

WTF would you have been expecting?

Slow start but he really picked it up after we lost Doni.

                          Very good game today

Also, hope there's some way of delaying Doni's suspension, embarrassing if Jones has to play in the semi.

Shocking game regardless, but thank **** we finally won.
Let's not think of it that way, because that's just speculative bollocks.

We won 3-2. We moan when we lose, let's just enjoy the three points.

He tried to clear the ball, dallied with it and hit it straight at Yakubu, then barged him off the ball. Penalty.

Sorry, I didn't see it that way. We are diabolical. Maxi's prowess made it 2-0. If he weren't such a skilful finisher, it might never have gone to 2-0. I can't think of a player who would have buried those chances, not going by recent performances (ie. the last 10 games).

And in the 2nd half, we didn't try to win the game, it was shocking football we produced. And being down to 10 men doesn't really cut it for me, had Coates not lumped it upfront and that daft Blackburn player stayed around the goal post, offside, nada. It was a lucky goal, well executed but lucky.

In the grand scheme of things, we have been the ****test I've ever seen us play in a long time, and not just today. It's depressing and I'm glad once this season is over. Although I've taken it all jokingly, as others have had to, especially today, deep down, it's been shocking and not of Liverpool standard. All season hasn't.

                                My 2 cents.
