I think Agger's become my favourite player. He is huge for us, a proper leader and more importantly a brilliant player.

I love players with his sort of temperament and mentality. Hyypia and Alonso both had it too. Composed but tenacious, cerebral yet bloody minded.

Some of Maxi's link play was sublime. There was one fantastic move which ended with Carroll offside and Maxi was at the fulcrum of it - we're much more capable of knitting together those sort of quick, one-touch moves when he's in the side. Touch, technique, movement and goals.

It's debatable for me. The ball was bouncing about 6 yards away from Yakubu and going away from goal, with Coates coming back. If Jones hadnt touched him, Yakubu wasnt even going to GET the loose ball, let alone score.

I can understand why the referee didnt send him off
