I'd slightly disagree with this. Until fairly recently we've played well and dominated the majority of our games this season, without getting the results we deserved. There has been some excellent performances, but the goals just never went in for us.

We're not quite as broken as some people on here would have you believe.

We haven't been good enough, you don't lose 11 games through just being a bit unlucky. It is because we are poor and worse we seem unmotivated.

you can blame comolli for the overinflated fees but you cant blame him for the **** tactics and poor play on the pitch.

The timing seems odd to me. Something is definitely of here.

Somethings gone down over the last few days to make FSG take this action now because otherwise why wouldnt they just wait until the end of the season. we're only talking a few weeks now.

Im not sure the 'family reasons' that comollis come up with is sound either because unless someone gets really sick, you would just wait another month.

For me somethings kicked off thats caused FSG to do this now. perhaps a leak to the press - might be the fsg looking for an investor / selling up story. Theres no way that you would sack a DOF two days before a semi final and just five games from the finish line.

Mixed feelings, I live commoli and the type of players he signs ... they tend to really come good in there 2nd seasons by and large ... he put Spurs were they are today in my opinion ...

7th and cup double and i think he stays - i'd also argue that it's been a successful season despite the performances and results at time...

i know things have panned out pretty randomly, but on paper at the start of the season I felt we were the 6th best team/squad behind Utd, City, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal

Newcastle have stunned everyone so fair play to them - I did however expect that although we might be 6th - that we'd at worse be 6th but like 5 points from 4....not 15.

Although, that was after we'd made our signings, and I don't think we're that much better off for them, I'd have us 6th or 7th with the players we had last season too. Which considering how much we spent in the summer, is pretty bad

Its also fairly close as to who has the better starting 11 between us and Newcastle, which is also relatively horrific too

I thought for most of the second half we were poor and submissive. When we had 11 men we were better, but tbh it is Blackburn and quite frankly they are ****e.

Our league performance over the season has been far below good enough. To a degree where Kenny's position is being rightfully questioned.
