The fact that he is of noway near the quality we need means he is. It wasn't hard to see he didn't have the attributes to be a top class player.

hardly the same. check the MOM threads and early doors, Adam was picking up a fair few nominations. he had some very good games, with Lucas in the team. His form has dropped and he struggles in a 2 with no help behind him. It happens. I think he has been worth every penny of the fee personally.

I really do think Henderson has a lot of potential, but he hasn't been handled properly. Similairly, Carroll seems to have been managed incorrectly - there are always going to be question marks about why he can never hold a place after he has done well. Its Babelism all over again, except with a higher value, more mentally fragile product.

Adam is ok squad option but Carroll and Downing are brought in to be first team players and neither of them impressed so far.
