FranchiseOriginally posted by Pablo1981 View PostExactly, maybe that's where we've been going wrong?
I think sacking him after winning two cups would be regrettable personally. We are Liverpool, we are not and have never been that fickle. I think it's important we get our personality back to what made us a special club.
we are now a franchise

The fact that he is of noway near the quality we need means he is. It wasn't hard to see he didn't have the attributes to be a top class player.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View Postffs Adam cost £7m. hardly a dubious signing.

Jovanovic cost nothing, but would you say he wasn't a dubious signing?
hardly the same. check the MOM threads and early doors, Adam was picking up a fair few nominations. he had some very good games, with Lucas in the team. His form has dropped and he struggles in a 2 with no help behind him. It happens. I think he has been worth every penny of the fee personally.

The real dubious signings for me were Carroll and Downing as we splashed 55m on those 2Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostI really do think Henderson has a lot of potential, but he hasn't been handled properly. Similairly, Carroll seems to have been managed incorrectly - there are always going to be question marks about why he can never hold a place after he has done well. Its Babelism all over again, except with a higher value, more mentally fragile product.
The real dubious signings for me were Downing and Adam.
Adam is ok squad option but Carroll and Downing are brought in to be first team players and neither of them impressed so far.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

If average, mediocre players who can't play in the system we employ, and who embarrassingly barrel into players in dangerous positions is what you're after...Originally posted by Chris View PostIndeed, not even been that bad either, plenty of good performances. 6 assists and involved in more. If he was foreign.....
Of course, if he was call Carlos Adaminho that wouldn't matter either.
He's scottish, I'm scottish, I like seeing a scottish link in Liverpool, but nationality doesn't come into it if they're not very good.

Kenny moves up to the Director of Football position, and Rafa is appointed as manager with the King's full blessing and support as well as FSG's funding.
