I think "We feel there is enough talent on the pitch to win and, as I said, we've been dissatisfied, as most supporters have been, with the results so far." does seem like some actual criticism of Kenny though.Originally posted by Lecter View PostAs I said earlier Kenny wields huge power and influence
I think even the owners are under his spell to a certain extent

From YNWA:
Tomkins has put a new article up on TTT. Says Henry phoned him a couple of weeks ago to get Thomkins view on what is going wrong at the club and they spoke for over an hour.
No one at FSG has a clue how to judge Commolis work or what is going wrong at the club.
Commoli feedback tp FSG has been poor and he and kenny always back each other up and say the same things.
Henry asked his opinion about bringing in someone to head things up and Deins name was mentioned !!
Henry said they are going to do it but hadn't yet because with Commoli in situ it was an extra unnecessary and confusing level.
So either Dein is coming or someone of that calibre to head things up, as quite a few on here have suspected.
Could be coincidence, Shaggy could be right in what he says and Dein's presence means nothing.

Criticising someone indirectly is very different than sacking them thoughOriginally posted by Mattshark View PostI think "We feel there is enough talent on the pitch to win and, as I said, we've been dissatisfied, as most supporters have been, with the results so far." does seem like some actual criticism of Kenny though.

Great response.Originally posted by Chris View PostWhat were you expecting though? Criticism of the manager on the official website? A sacking two days before a Cup Semi?
Stick with the polite sirs next time.
What I find strange is sacking staff on the back of poor team performance and yet the manager appears Teflon coated.
Doesn't that strike you as strange when it is Kenny that picks the team, picks the players to sign, and approves the tactics. It does me.
If FSG were unhappy with the way things were being done at the club then by all means make changes but couldn't it have waited until Sunday or Monday? And surely the figurehead of the club, the manager, takes ultimate responsibility?
I'm not suggesting that we should sack Kenny now or in the future but if you're pointing fingers at poor performance, which FSG seemingly are, then the finger should also be pointed at him.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Without a doubt, but it would indicate that there is pressure on him. I would been stunned if Kenny was removed before the end of the season though if they do intend a change.Originally posted by Lecter View PostCriticising someone indirectly is very different than sacking them though

And lose a huge proportion of the money through taxation and then not being able to spend the balance without it counting against FFPROriginally posted by Suarez View Postdidn't we buy Carroll injured? We should've bought nobody rather than pay 35m for him.
There are many facets to the Carroll transfer imoBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
