Ajax's Johan Cruyff resigns
Updated: April 10, 2012, 4:39 PM ET

AMSTERDAM -- Ajax says Johan Cruyff has resigned as a board member but will take on a new, unspecified position at the Amsterdam soccer club where he can carry out his vision for reforms.
Cruyff has been at the center of a long-running feud among the Dutch club's leadership. Cruyff won a court battle in February overturning the appointment of Louis van Gaal as CEO by other board members against Cruyff's wishes. Cruyff resigned Tuesday with an agreement in place for choosing a new board.
Ajax said in a statement that Cruyff will "remain involved with the implementation of his football vision within the club," and his job title will be defined later.
Cruyff's appointees, including coach Frank de Boer and the trainers of Ajax's youth program, will remain.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

And if Kenny is not going with the help of Sports Science because he wants a more traditional regime we could be in danger of moving backwards while other teams move forwards.
I may have misinterpreted the tweet, and if I have fair enough. But if what I mentioned is true, I'm not too happy with that.
It was written in regards to Brukner.
We need to be forward thinking in these regards, it is worrying. What worked in the 80's and mid 90's doesn't work any more.

Why Purslow? According to the tweet, the senior source was still at the Club, or that's how I read it.... "senior club source".....unless it was a spot of obfustication from Mr. Roan.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHe 100% deleted them, within minutes, and it seems Purslow was his "senior source"

Yes of courseOriginally posted by BootRoom View PostWait a minute, isn't it Kenny's decision seeing as you have painted him as the all-powerful one at the Club?
