what do you lot expect in a semi final? it was always going to be close. they are in form, we're not. apart from our **** up, they haven't looked dangerous at all. we started off postively.

agger provided width and was able to whip the ball in againsty blackburn, we have a nervous keeper, so kenny opts for carras experience and agger at left back. its not ideal. but regardless of position, agger has been poor, his passing from the off was ****e. that shouldn't matter where he plays.

Sorry Bob, the shambles is down to Kenny. Agger is a centreback. Play him there.

Unfortunately true. It has been a really **** game all round, but it's been the usual toothless bull**** from the usual suspects.

I really do want to back Kenny but he's making it so ****ing difficult at the moment.

Still think we can win this against a poor team, but giving away a goal and forcing us to go looking makes it really tough with our approach. I expect we'll continue to be **** until the hour mark when Kenny might make some changes then we'll have to see how our late rally goes.

Thing is, Everton hasn't contributed to much either. They're sitting back now as expected and making it hard for us. That's where we've struggled all season, to score against teams sitting back. We need to put them under more pressure and it was a wrong decision to put in Agger at left back, Carra should have made way. In hindsight, even if he dallies with the ball a lot, Enrique should be able to offer more going forward than what Agger offers. It's just not his position I'm afraid.

In all honesty, it's very hard to see how the way we're set up benefits anyone. Gerrard in the wrong position. What role exactly does Suarez have? It's like he's just told to go out and have a good ****in go at the opposition. Carra/Skrtel/Agger is a completely unstable defence. It is very tight in one way but it's a totally ****e match from two really poor teams. I can see very clearly today what many have been saying about the apparent total abence of any sort of plan. Maybe we were overused to really obvious tactics from Rafa and obvious awful ones from Hodgson but I can see absolutely no structure at all to what we're trying to do. And although I don't really rate Carroll I feel sorry for him today chasing scraps and he seemed really up for it in the fitst 10-15 mins.

I can understand why we'd play Downing, he's the one player we have that offers width and Wembley is a very wide pitch. But in the first half we haven't really used the width of the pitch at all. I don't think we have an effective game plan or tactics

As i have been saying for a while, every game under Dalglish is on a wing and a prayer allied to a lot of god awful signings it's a recipe for disaster. No tactical acumen and his selection today told me he's lost the plot.
