Carragher will be starting 100% sure of this. Played every FA Cup game this season, he needs to perform or he could cost us big time.

I fear that you're right about the ponderous Carragher. There's no room for sentiment so Carragher should be restricted to making the half-time tea and we should play our best centre-back pairing, not shuffle Agger to the left to accommodate Carragher.

If Carragher does play the chances of our winning are greatly reduced. Drogba will be licking his lips if he sees Carragher's name on the teamsheet.

I'll be surprised if Dalglish doesn't take the opportunity to show the owners his over-priced, over-rated flops in the line-up, so expect Downing, Carroll etc to take part while Maxi, Bellamy, Kuyt etc will be benched. Thank God that Adams is injured.

I also expect that he'll play Spearing rather than Shelvey, which will be a mistake.

Basically if Dalglish pickes our strongest XI (which is highly unlikely) I would expect us to win by a couple. But if he plays Carragher and the duds, as I expect him to, we're in for a long, hard afternoon

The really sad thing is I am not surprised by this. bloke at work is a big Chelsea fan and I told him what a disgrace they were for the minutes silence, his retort was "it would have been far worse if it was Man Utd"

Granted the bloke is a tool but it seems that sort of justification is widespead.

This is our biggest game in a number of years.. People arguing Dalglish does what is best for this club will no longer have a foot to stand on if he plays Carragher.. He either values sentiment which has no place in a managers mind.

Or we face the fact he rates Carragher's performances good enough to start ahead of either Skrtel or Agger as well as upsetting the balance of the side by move a CB to LB.

I'm saying this now because I want to get behind us 100% during the game and I don't want to look like I'm over reacting if this happens come FT. If Kenny messes about with Carragher/Agger/Enrique and Skrtel to an extent because he's move to the left side.. And we lose, I'll call for his head.. It'd be one thing not winning, but not giving ourselves every chance would be a disgrace.
