      You have to admit though, that the highest amounts of shots does not equate to a great season? The Chavs, Mancs, even teams like Wigan just seem to convert their chances more efficiently. Let's hope things get rectified in the summer and we see a more hopeful chance conversion and league campaign next season.

              A stroll in the park. We bossed it for the entire match. One shot from 25 yards to deal with, otherwise Reina could have leaned against the post and read a book. Suarez was utterly amazing. Shelvey is a big upgrade on Spearing and even Carragher didn't give away his customary soft goal - and only three aimless hoofs upfield all game. Onwards and upwards

                    I doubt we'll be lining up like this against Chelsea though. Spearing will be back and we won't be as fluent.

                    To be fair, completely different game next week. Pressure's off in the league.

                      Oh definitely. But it makes you wonder how we could be if we got a proper striker and a couple decent midfielders too.

                      Also I wonder if Kenny's ability as a manager would increase if he grew a goatee.

                                Has anyone got a video of Stevie's bollocking incident? Missed the post match and I've got to see that for comedy value.

                                Great performance by Luis today. He's one of those people who are so good at what they do that the simple stuff seems a lot harder to do than the complicated things. Real talent
