I wouldn't have minded so much if we were playing well when this came out...

Brendo comes across pretty well, hard to believe he is only 39... He has oodles of self belief, which is kind of mad given what he has achieved in his career. He's going to need it. My hope is that all this talk turns itself into good football and results, at present I'm only talking about on the pitch here, not Hillsborough) we seem to be all PR and spin. We will need to start backing that up at some point.

Car wise, and house wise it looks like footer management is a pretty reasonable career

One of the things which comes out is Brendan's unshakeable belief in his system and style of football. Whether the belief is right or not, you need that unshakable faith to succeed at Liverpool.

It says something that Brendan hasn't saved the quotes and metaphors for when he started to win trophies. If this didn't work out he would look foolish. That's why I am positive it will work out. What kind of man would say such things if they didn't have 100% belief that they could make it work? Only someone deluded...like David Brent.

        In Brendan we trust! http://p.twimg.com/AyC3OGqCEAABRkR.jpg:large

He is a bit Brent ish. The bit when he does the pre match team talk at WBA is a bit cringey (espicially since we go on to get cuffed 3 nil )...
I'm not sure having a camera present at these times is in anyway a good idea.

The start of the show was like a showreel of the degeneration of Pepe Reina

Loads of goals with Pepe on his knees sticking an arm out but basically watching the ball go past him.

I'd also forgotten big Andy had one cleared of the line in the FA Cup final.

He has extraordinary self-belief. I'm inclined to think that there is a reason for it rather than he is just deluded. I think it will take a good year to a year and a half before we start seeing why though.

Thought his mrs would have been a bit fitter, given he's incredibly rich

Brendon has a massive ego. Did you see him telling everyone he is good at what he does, in that Q&A the other day. I like it. We need a manager who has a bit of confidence and swagger.

True.....but to do it in the long run, you need to back it up with results.
Really hope he's the man to do it.
