Colin Pascoe's son is the father of Brendan's grandchild.

I was shocked by his mrs though. She's a big lady. Must be the cooking, Brendan's a bit pudgy too.

He lacks charisma and wit. Something our previous great managers had. But its not a personality contest. To infinity and beyond

Hardly a warts and all documentary, more a PR film. Nothing on the search for Dalglish's replacement, no questioning of statements made by the owners or Rodgers or anyone else. It's not exactly Newsnight or Panorama.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I thought it was his son who has had the nipper?

He plays for Brighton and is one of the four players up on a sexual assault charge.

He would wake up with a bag over his head in a van on a beach at 5.00 am with a polite chat not to date my daughter again.

I was totally on the fence with Kenny, could see why he had to go but wouldn't be against him getting another season and have got right behind Rodgers but for the owners to say what they said was wrong, I thought they got rid of Kenny then looked for a replacement , they might of had an idea who they wanted but they were not guaranteed the get him when Kenny left
Henry talked about the first conversation they had. That was in January 2011 when Kenny came back on a temporary basis, when it was well known they wanted Villas Boas or Klopp.

Basically, the majority of the US audience won't know about the situation. They'll just assume Kenny was hired from the off permanently with the condition that when their man was available, he'd step aside. That condition only applied when Kenny was on a 6 month contract.

No mention about extending it to a 3 year deal or about flying him to Boston and ditching him.
Marina Dalglish' tweet after it finished said it all.

Instead, they've got away with the lie and poor Rodgers is getting some criticism on the web for being human.

The main objective for me was for it not to be a PR catastrophe as so many fly on the wall documentaries tend to be. So in that way, it was excellent.

After that, I thought it was a totally banal piece of television. They have taken one of the world's greatest sporting institutions and reduced it to a Hello magazine type showcase. Zero insight into the history of the club nor the workings of the club. It neither educates a new American audience, nor does it provide nourishment for the life long fan.

                          All a bit pointless really.

Are American documentaries normally this bland and uninspiring?
                          Oh I don't know.

BR likes a cliche. The portrait of himself at home is a bit indulgent. Still, am sure there's substance to it.

Its exactly what I expected. A look behind the scenes of the club. I hardly think they are going to do an in depth thought piece on the current troubles and issues they are dealing with.

Its all window decoration for people to see Liverpool as a happy, vibrant investment for sponsors and new fans/customers. I watched it this morning with Dot and her Sister. They both loved it, they lapped up the Gerrard/Rodgers at home stuff (Made them seem real apparently)
So I guess in that respect it hit its target audience.
                                *Except Michael, who died.
