nice to see Carroll really put himself about. He has been improving slowly but try last were games he has rediscovered his new Newcastle form and right in time for the euros

He's been much improved but 3-4 games can not wipe out a mediocre season.

No one has said it's been a great season by his standards but the last 12-15 games he's played in, he's steadily improved. He looks some player now. Fitter, takes players on and is basically unplayable. He's got tremendous character.
