Had his contract extended to 2014 I think.Originally posted by Captain Stu View PostSurprised Jogi Löw isn't on that list (assuming it's not just a complete load) - not too young, not too old and out of contract after the Euros so now would be an ideal to be talking to him.Switch off when not in use.

Ah ****, you're right.Originally posted by Sprouty View PostHad his contract extended to 2014 I think.
Well, certainly couldn't hurt to ask him - if an international manager was to leave at any point it makes more sense right after a tournament so his replacement has a fresh qualifying campaign to work on.
Not saying it'd work but certainly worth a look, better than some of the names being batted around.

if that is jen changs first serious contribution then we're in for one rollercoaster ride.Originally posted by Chrono View PostWhen you are in the market for your third new manager in just under two years, you have been turned down by the Swansea City coach and the fans are getting more than a little restless, it may seem a canny idea to invite those same Liverpool supporters to lend a hand in the search for a new boss.
Someone at Anfield decided to invite suggestions on Twitter about who should succeed Kenny Dalglish, with a view to the replies appearing on the club's website.
The following question appeared on Friday afternoon. What could possibly go wrong?
"Who do you want to replace Kenny Dalglish as #LFC manager? Reply with your suggestions and reasons."
"It could be someone we've been linked with or a new name. #LFC"
Not long afterwards, however, someone thought better of it and the question disappeared. Maybe the suggestions were less on the lines of Pep Guardiola and José Mourinho, and more David Brent and Captain Sparrow.
Later, Liverpool's official Twitter account said the context of their tweet had been "misunderstood – we were simply looking for fan views to include on a fun online feature".
Has the world gone mad? Why the **** are we pulling a tweet like this when anyone with half a brain would know we aren't taking a poll to actually dictate who we are going to employ. Not sure who is more stupid here, the thick as **** morons who made an issue of it or the journo who thinks it was a stupid thing to do. **** sake!
I need to lay down, this **** is creating some serious rage
welcome to lfc jen.

I think he is listed because he lives in the USA, manages Team USA and everyone assumes the owners will look nearby for someone. That said, he is dismantling our current youth set up (thank **** for that) and has the team playing well with a LOAD of talent shortcomings all over the pitch. But they call him California Klinsy for a reason here; no way is he leaving the USA on the eve of WC Qualifying.Originally posted by Sprouty View PostKlinsman.
