I wish Whelan would shut up, this has nothing to do with him

    Whelan again...

"They set down their rules on how they saw the role and the way they wanted the team run and that was not the way Roberto would do it,” Whelan told ESPN.

“Roberto has his own way of doing things but they are American owners who have their own ideas of how it should be done.

They are entitled to want to do it their way and Liverpool are a big club so I can see why Brendan Rodgers has opted to go there and good luck to him he’s a fine coach.

“But I don’t think Swansea are going to be too pleased, they lost Roberto to us and they were none too happy about that and now they have lost Brendan so I imagine they will be even more unhappy right now.”

So are in we still in for LVG?

What is the right figure though? How much would've been saved in going down the cuntish route ? Would Rodgers want to leave in that way ?

We have spent over £20 million on managerial compensations over the last 2 years ...
I would rather spend 20m on compensation than Stewart Downing.

I can understanding his assistant coming along. But I'd have thought our medical staff would be far superior to Swansea's?

Maybe Brendo likes the caterers at Swansea - can they come up too?
Didn't FSG sack our chief medical person?

Compo would still have to be paid

Maybe not as much as we have shelled out now

I thought one of the aims of FSG was to have a sort of Manager-neutral setup whereby if the manager left (or other key member - sporting director, etc) there would be minimal disruption to the rest of the organisation.
