Shaggy has just destroyed those arguments against the Pep doubters. If that doesn't change your minds then you're too stubborn for your own good

For the last time, I would take him here everyday. But its still a gamble as he has no record anywhere else to speak of.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I don't think its done and dusted yet. They said they will interview a few candidates and so far we only know for sure that they have interviewed Martinez. I think this will go on for another week or two before a final decision is made. Apparently Martinez gets a second stage interview on Tuesday so that just goes to show this isn't done yet.
Maybe we can still hope for Guardiola or Klopp

On Guardiola, class manager, but his results wouldn't translate directly over to us. He'd need a few transfer windows to get this team playing in his style.
As also said, he built a team around arguably the greatest ever player, so it would obviously be more difficult to sweep the board without such a talented player.
And I do agree, he had no plan B against Chelsea. It was clear Chelsea had the Indian sign over Barca and a change of tactic was needed when it was apparent Messi was burned out. But he had no idea.
Still a great manager though, no coach wins every game.Forwards.......
