Rafa would feel so right. But one hero came back and he has gone....

Villas Boas and Benitez for me (top 2 who are out of work).

If not, I'd go for Bielsa.

All three have the ability to attract European talent, unless we got someone like Cruyff as DOF.

          If money was no object...

Pep Guardiola, with Cryuff as DoF.

This Martinez stuff has a worrying no smoke without fire feel about it. Nice lad, done well to keep them up but he wouldnt have even made a shortlist if this job was available in March. The criteria for this job needs to be more than Premier League survival with a little club.

I have a strong feeling it will be Martinez and Txiki coming in as DoF.

Maybe it's his 'success' on a shoestring budget FSG find attractive?

I'm wondering who will assist the owners in choosing the right manager? Who do we still have left? As long as they don't turn to Klinsmann...

it would definitely be a punt, and a risky one at that. He has something about him, not sure what exactly, but considering we've gone through managers so quickly recently, its too much of a punt for us right now.

I hope its someone like Mark Hughes or Martin Jol. To be honest I don't give a flying ****. 30 odd years of investment both emotionally and financially thrown away by a couple of ****ing americans who know **** all about 'soccer'. Club is dead to me right now as is football. Money over glory. Brilliant stuff.
