I'd love to see Rafa back but I think there are alot of "issues" that would have to be overcome to bring him back, I'm not sure how likely it would be to happen. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Who would I go for? Rafa and forget the DOFOriginally posted by Lee View PostI agree mate, it's difficult to not get my hopes up.
It'll be Martinez won't it.
Who would you go for moosh?
I think they will go for a Martinez or AVB with someone like Cruyff or Van Gaal above them.
I just hope that they make an appointment for the long term and are being advised correctly

It's interesting to see so many up for the idea of AVB. I'm certainly warming to it. He's a far better manager than he was able to show at Chelsea, where lets be honest he had a bunch of cunts to deal with, who never seemed to get behind him from day one. It's hard to argue that he failed there though (although he laid the groundwork for them reaching the CL final I suppose). He'll go on to manage another club and be a success I think, so I'd not be disappointed with his appointment.
Would love Pep but doubt he can be talked out of his sabbatical.
Klopp has done really well but I must admit I don't know a great deal about him other than the obvious.
Rafa would still be my #1 choice but just don't think that'll happen.
Martinez I'm a fan of but someone like that would be a massive gamble and this summer could be a defining moment in our future so not sure it's the right time really.
Erm so yeah, **** knows

AVB was a complete failure at Chelsea. I fear that his abrasive personality won't cut it with our squad.Originally posted by Reece View PostIt's interesting to see so many up for the idea of AVB. I don't like the idea of this DOF thing. I really don't think it's of any benefit at all - we've seen that with Kenny & Comolli this season.
Who is advising them? That's the big worry.Originally posted by Chazza1978 View PostI just hope that they make an appointment for the long term and are being advised correctly
I was torn on keeping Kenny and letting him go, but the big worry is who FSG will bring in to replace him.
Martinez if he comes might be fantastic and turn us around, or he could be completely out of his depth and come this time next year we'll have another summer like this one and the last two.

I would be interested in AVB. Stitched up by those cunts at Chelsea, likes good football, ambitious....much prefer him to Martinez.
