Often been said he along with AVB were their preferred candidates before Kenny succeeded in the caretaker role. Last time I looked Marseille were doing ****. Very uninspired by Deschamps.

More so Rijkaard, but Deschamps has good C.V. Champs League Final & league winner. and is well respected. Bad season you're right, but better than Martinez and many others mentioned that's for sure.

For me i'd like to see Frank Rikjaard's style of play in the premier league. Any manager that can get Barcelona playing like that has my vote! An incredible footballing philosphy and a great C.V. World class footballer in his day who would command respect too.

I think it will be Martinez, but if possible I'd like Rafa back. Definitely wouldn't want Capello, any of the others on the list would be interesting choices. Don't think Clarke is in the running and Mourinho wouldn't stay anywhere long enough to build for the future. AVB would be a good choice, he would be keen to prove himself in the Premiership - I think the Chelsea players just didn't play for him because they're a bunch of ****s.
