I'd not be upset if he's right though (but has he ever been right?).Originally posted by Reece View PostHe (Gunga) also said that Ayre had gone though, so I wouldn't hang on his words.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

We've had success in the past and there's no guarantee we can be successful in the future but with him at the helm we have a great chance of doing that.
He's had a month off already, most mortal beings don't even get 21 days off annual leave so I'm sure he's feeling recovered already, I'd even wager that he's bought himself a few more grey suits which will come in handy on the gloomy winter nights at Stoke he'd fit in quite nicely.
We have to "Have the guts" to speak to him, like I've said he will only say yes or no. If he says no then we persist and try and convince him that he can help take us forward.
Just imagine those champions league nights on ITV HD again with him on the touchline and us destroying teams left right and centre.

Is it just me...?

Andi Rush @AndiRush
Few weeks ago I'd happily have said AVB as the next LFC Manager, but @TonyEvansTimes seems to have doubts about him, makes me think now.Tony Evans @TonyEvansTimes
@AndiRush It won't happen. Unless someone has lied (Deffo not) he's not in frame. Times will say that todayTony Evans @TonyEvansTimes
@AndiRush He misjudged Chelsea completely. But his immaturity was wider than that. Bright fella. Needs to learn humilityThanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I have to put this out there.
AVB failed miserably at Chelsea. I watched them closely and they were terrible, clueless on the pitch. It was only moments of individual brilliance that would get them points here and there (especially Mata). Abramovich brought in AVB for a long term plan but even he know they were on a road to nowhere. His post match interviews reached a new level of dreariness with his voice reaching such low frequencies that even presenters would cut him off. Head down, totally deflated, he seemed completely out of his depth with no spark or ideas of how to turn things around at Chelsea.
I would be doing cartwheels if we had signed AVB straight from Porto but after his stint at Chelsea, I'm worried....really worried.

I think it is clear that the squad has to buy into AVBs ideas. Chelsea didn't and therefore looked terrible. It's happened before with exceptional managers (Clough at Leeds being the canonical example).Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostI have to put this out there.
