I don't think Rogers turned it down because he knew it was too big for him, I think he knew that he wouldn't get the support of the fans who want a big european name to replace KK. Much like the appointment of Hodgson.

That documentary of Liverpool FC may as well be called The Apprentice. 12 ****ing candidates? We need Lord Sugar, Nick and Karen on the job and the candidates should get to do some tasks. By the start of teh season we should have the winner. I cannot wait for the interview rounds.

I have no problem with them interviewing 12 people to me it shows a thorough process and that they want to make sure the right person is appointed to work within the new structure
