@thisisanfield: Some good shouts that Martinez unveiling will be held off at LFC until Friday to announce with Warrior Sports logos in place.
      Forwards.......

Ugh. I don't like the sound of that. It actually makes sense that they would want to do it with the new brading. Could just be someone that puts a bit thought into rumours that they start.

Whilst it may not be Martinez, I do think that a delay in announcing the new manager, or at least a delay in the unveiling until Friday does make a lot of sense.

I suspect a triple announcement on Friday of new Coach, Sporting director and Technical adviser. Or whatever the titles are!

Martinez will be our next manager.
                Are we winning?

Coming round to thinking Martinez will be a great long term signing for LFC.
Add Van Gaal into the mix, then I honestly expect great times ahead..

I'll be surprised if he's not anyway.

Would be nice if Klopp had said yes, but he has the champions league to come next season, and the continuation of what he's started there, so wouldn't blame him for not taking a chance on us.

Martinez is a different matter, he'll never achieve big things with Wigan, so it's a no brainer for him ambition wise.

I agree I am certain of it. To me the Stevie statement was a careful plant in the PR campaign. He is the only one FSG have been known to speak to and the only one Stevie has mentioned. The Miami meeting looked relaxed and casual and not the first meeting.

I know some have their doubts but I think this guy has the visionary look about him and has a playing philosophy that anyone could admire. I am prepared to get right behind him even though I would have stuck with Kenny for another season.

Gerrard was questioned by the media on Martinez after Whelan said they'd made Martinez an offer.

Gerrard replied that the offer to Martinez was news to him, he'd heard nothing of the sort. But if Martinez got the job he'd give him his support.

So read nothing into that mate.

I'm just looking at the compiled odds on Oddschecker and BR has just moved back in to fav position...

                          BR
                          SkyBet: 11/10
                          PaddyPower: 4/5
                          StanJames: 11/10

                          RM
                          SkyBet: 6/5
                          PaddyPower: 6/5
                          StanJames: evs

                          JK
                          SkyBet: 7/2
                          PaddyPower: 13/2
                          StanJames: 7/2

The odds for BR & JK are shortening

You could get between 20's & 40's for JK 4 days ago

For one horrible moment I read JK as Jurgen Klinnsmen. Then I remembered it also applied to Jurgen Klopp

Yep, Klopp was miles out in the betting, at the time i think he apparently declined the opportunity for talks he was way out (if he did decline) but as the rumours have emerged...the odds have reduced, but it all happened as the twitter and talk sports 'moose' gossip was spread.

Hopefully the bookies are compliling their odds based on more than just 'the mooses' campaign for extra twitter followers.
