Rafa > Rodgers > Martinez > AVB

Like a lot of people I'm guessing, I haven't had time to read the entire thread and often just jump to last page. Have I missed something that has ruled out Rafa either offically or unoffically or do we just know that FSG haven't spoke to him?

I think that many LFC supporters are sharing the same fears, especially considering that the only confirmed targets so far are pretty low profile managers like Martinez or Rodgers ...

Its an absolute disgrace. To not even talk to the guy and see what his thoughts are is just wrong. Ayre is a total bollocks. For all we know, Rafa is quite happy to work either as or under a DOF. I really, really hope the yanks pull something out of the bag here. Very nervous.

But you directly correlated the manager's demands for funding with his employment previous profile. That just makes no sense at all.

If there is a DoF (or similar role) in place, then I am pretty sure that the budgets would be signed off by all parties internally. That is how businesess's work.

Yes, there are concerns with appointing Martinez, but they are not really because FSG want to get CL on the cheap. The concerns are, that he is simply not experienced at this level. It is a risk.
