We have just replaced a manager who has won 4 league titles with a manager who was sacked by Reading less than 3 years ago ...

but managed to finish 5 points behind us with a squad costing half of an Andy Carroll

I'm delighted with this, mainly because our football style will dramatically have to change and I am a huge fan of possession football . If all our players respond to this change in tactics we are going to watch some beautiful football over the next few years. Its a huge risk of course but if it works out then we have the potential to generate a lot of excitement about our team. The press and football fans love teams who play hard-working, possession based tactics. It could give us a new look and make us formidable. I just hope that Rodgers knows how to implement this correctly.

By appointing someone whose greatest achievement is promotion with Swansea City then it's clear FSG are simply preparing for relegation next season.
