According to our Managing Director, every season without the Champions League money is a failure ... The rules have been set, and should be applied to anyone ... I am willing to fully back up Rodgers as our boss next season, but if he fails to deliver a CL qualifications, he should be gone ...
17 points off 4th place is the main point really. If we just miss out on Champions League next season then the manager should stay imo.

Anyway, everyone wanted Guardiola. That wasn't possible. Now we may just have got the British version.

As someone else said, go support Chelski. A manager should be judged on the entirety of his season. How his new signings (though who knows if they'll be his) play. How much promise they show. Improvement over an entire season. How he reacts to adversity and what he does to fix it. It's not all about the final league position.

We at RAWK have always firmly believed that one of the strengths of being a Liverpool supporter is that we support the manager. We welcome him to our club and sincerely hope he understands the culture and history and requirements of one being manager at Liverpool Football Club, one of the major jobs in the world of football.

There may be some fans on here who did not wish for his appointment, perhaps preferring any number of other candidates. Let us make one thing clear: We support our manager. Full stop. If any of you are unable to do that, you will find yourselves looking for another fansite to post on. Liverpool supporters are meant to do things the right way and make no mistake, we will remove persistent whingers, moaners, nostalgists and petty posters from this site without a second thought.

Welcome Brendan, you've a bloody big pair of boots to fill. Good luck and welcome and all the best from us at RAWK

Their own statement. They do take themselves a bit too seriously over there

Me too it has to be said

I am excited by rumours of a new management team, with LVG/whoever as a Director figure (ie someone that has ideally managed before but with the necessary stature) and a head coach; but that remains to be seen
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Did they ban people who didn't support Hodgson?

Anyway, I'm more interested in the SOS statement.

we are looking for a marked improvement. I don't expect us to get champs league next season, but to at least challenge would be nice.

Lol that's a good reason not to go on that site. It's more like a communist state over there.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

He will get my 100% support. He is no bodge and i only hope we get LVG so we can attract some to class players.

Comments like that aren't exactly productive. Everyone should be entitled to their opinion without been told to go support someone else, hate that ****.

Of course they are idiots ... Only idiots would sack a club legend over a poor half-season in the league, the same half-season where he has won one trophy and has got us to another final ... Unfortunately, they own and run the club, and can set the rules at their will ...

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
