17 points off 4th place is the main point really. If we just miss out on Champions League next season then the manager should stay imo.

I don't think that it would make any difference to FSG ... Being 17 points or 7 points out of the CL places is still the same financial return ...

I've watched quite a lot of interviews with Rodgers and he has a presence about him. He immediately commands respect almost effortlessly. He appears poised, calm and knows what he wants. He calls his players his friends and he never shies away from taking the blame for the tactics and always credits the players where credit is due. He seems perfect for us. Time will tell though I suppose...

Fair play man. Great to see someone genuinely exited! I agree with everything you say about his persona. Let's hope he not only stands up to the pressure of a massive leap forward but thrives and makes us something special!

i suppose as LFC supporters we are always going to try and look at the positives. It's exciting & it's new, but at the same time it's a big gamble and could all end in tears.

Brendan Rodgers is the new manager of Liverpool.
We at RAWK have always firmly believed that one of the strengths of being a Liverpool supporter is that we support the manager. We welcome him to our club and sincerely hope he understands the culture and history and requirements of one being manager at Liverpool Football Club, one of the major jobs in the world of football.


There may be some fans on here who did not wish for his appointment, perhaps preferring any number of other candidates. Let us make one thing clear: We support our manager. Full stop. If any of you are unable to do that, you will find yourselves looking for another fansite to post on. Liverpool supporters are meant to do things the right way and make no mistake, we will remove persistent whingers, moaners, nostalgists and petty posters from this site without a second thought.
