I wonder how he feels himself? Does he feel let down by the owners or is he happy it's finished?

Strange to say but it feels heavy on my stomach seeing him leave although he may not be the right man. He's LFC's identity, woven in our dna and I will miss the joy when we scored a goal. I love managers that show emotion.

Sad to see you leave King Kenny!

Thank you for everything Kenny, stabalizing the club, moving us forward and not least for bringing us back to winning trophies - first in 6 years. Heartbreaking seeing him leave today, bleeding Liverpool and still believing he can take us forward.

Hope to see you back at the club some day in some capacity.

        Legend, YNWA.

He'll always be a legend at the club. Wonderful player and truely understood what LFC was all about.

Sad it didn't work out for him, but that should never undermine his acheivements.

Kenny is one of the greatest servants the club have ever had. Nothing will ever change that. Legend, dignified, pure class!

Our biggest legend, our best footballer, our brightest light in dark days.
Kenny Dalglish. Quite simply, my hero.

Totally gutted. Who knows what next season would have been like - probably more of the same. Probably the right decision but hurts even more cos it's the King.

FSG have to get the next appointment right or otherwise we will be in freefall and be a merry go round for managers in this ****ty short termism version of the sport I have pretty much fallen out of love with.

He stood up when the club needed him. Thanks Kenny.

How good did it feel when he came back last season and got us playing some great stuff.

****ting the mancs 3-1 , City 3-0 and the Fulham away game on a sunny evening with Gerrard watching on in the studio .

Those few months and some of the cup games this season the only bright spots in the last 3 seasons.

he came back when we were at our lowest on the pitch and put a smile on everyone's face - legend
