    Congratulations Steve Clarke.

Looking forward to seeing whether he can make that step up or not after working under Gullit, Sir Bobby Robson, Mourinho, Zola and Dalglish.

So; if he finishes 12th and we finish 8th again, will he be our manager next season?

Good luck to the man, shame he didn't have any more impact than he did.

              Good luck Steve.
Would have liked to have kept him here but really hope he does well there
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

                Hope he does really well.

Given that he's followed Hodgson's footsteps from LFC to WBA I fully expect him to be appointed as the next England manager.

Shame he's gone but Rodgers Swansea team had a great defensive record. With our quality defenders we can improve even more on that area.

Given his apprenticeship it'll be really interesting to see how this one pans out. Whether its a case of when he left us he was just the learner but now he is the master or, alternatively, whether he just ends up doing a Brian Kidd.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I read a really interesting article/interview about/with Clarke before he came here in that he was so well-prepared as a coach, before he came to us he was already 'ready' for being the actual manager - which is why when we did eventually get him as a coach, I was pretty chuffed, as his natural progression would have meant his becoming a manager already. So I'm well chuffed he's got the WBA position, I'm sure he'll do alreet. All the best to him as well.
