Do you know what we are so ****ing ham and egg it is unbelievable.
Lucas says he felt his thigh in the warm up, we send him out anyway, he then signals inside the first minute of the game that he isn't right and needs to come off and we wave him back on the pitch because either Shelvey wasn't ready or Rodgers hadn't told him he would be going on.
Lucas then hobbles around for 3 or 4 more minutes making his injury much worse and he's out for 2 months at best.

It beggers belief, pathetically pitiful management by either Rodgers or our doctor/medical team.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

      Thank god we got Sahin.

Allen will be perfect cover for that position for now.

      So gutted for him.

I was shouting at Lucas to just sit down and get the play stopped. Don't know why he didn't - too honest probably. Think of all the cheating cunts who just sit/lie down when faking injury.

To be fair Lucas might have said he felt fine to play, only he knew how bad it was.

Easy for me to say, but if I were Lucas, I would have sat on the pitch, stalled as long as possible and then got stretchered off, thus giving the bench a little more time to sort out the mess. I wouldn't have continued hobbling.
              Oh I don't know.

That's ****ing twice we've done him over.
Our dumbcunt****wits medical team sent Lucas back onto the pitch against Fulham with his ACL hanging off.

The days of a cold sponge and "go try run it off son" have long gone.

We are top of the league for being miles behind where we should be in terms of medical treatment.
Not that he matters anywhere near as much but Joe Cole injured his hamstring, missed 10 days or so, declared himself fit with the medical staff agreeing, came on as sub against West Brom and oh did his hamstring.
Now seeing as that little barrell of tar doesn't have any pace his hamstring clearly wasn't right in the first place.

                Embarrassing

This. My missus was wondering what the **** I was shouting about

I'm not sure Lucas knew how serious the injury was, as he jogged off the last few metres when he was subbed

It's not Lucas's job to self diagnose injuries, he has just been out for 9 months, of course he is going to want to give it a go as he doesn't want to miss anymore football.
It was obviously bad enough for Lucas to tell someone in the warm up he felt his thigh go, get him out of the team there and then.
Every player who suffers a serious injury always picks up niggles as they begin to play and train regularly again

There is no excusing it. None whatsoever.

What I'm saying though is that he might have td Brendo when he went off that he felt it in the warm-up, im pretty sure if he said he felt like he was injured Rodgers wouldnt have risked it, not after just geting him back.

So.....do we take the opportunity to get rid of Spearing and Adam, or hold onto one of them (until January anyway) ?
Rodgers ain't gonna bring anyone else in for midfield.

I think we've enough depth in midfield with Allen, Sahin, Shelvey, Gerrard and Henderson.

Adam and Spearing can still go.

                              Get rid of both.

We have Sahin, Allen, Gerrard, Shelvey, Henderson. 5 players to rotate the 3 positions.
                              Oh I don't know.
