I was just wondering whether he is the next Carra, the boy has played in every postion junior wise.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dunno but was hugely impressed against Reading, and likewise tonight. The lad has one thing that many youngsters understably dont and thats composure.

He played in the pre season games as well. Looks like he might do ok for us. Only 19. With Paletta and Agger 20 and 21 we had a young defence tonight.
      I live with Steptoe.

Thought he acquitted himself very well tonight. Very encouraging.

He looks ok. I was far more impressed by Otsemobor a few years back, but Finnan will need a rest at some stage this season.

He looks solid. Let's hope he continues to progress. Well done lad.

I'd have no concerns about using him in a few Premiership games.

Yep it's nice to be able to say that about a player from the youth ranks.

Yep, I'd echo everything said here. Very pleasing performance again tonight, especially given that right-back isn't his proper position.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Good to have a local lad coming through, he looks a good un thus far.
Good in the tackle, quick, good positional sense, cracking atitude.
                      Encouraging, very encouraging.
                      Well played lad!!

Why where does he usually play?

Taught he played well tonight very composed hope he gets a chance and not just fall off the face of the earth and end up going on loan to a lower league side and been given a free transfer after the his loan spell......its happened to many times

midfielder, think i may have read he was a central player before. I dont have e season so dont see all the highlights etc.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Yeah when I've seen him on the e-season reserves highlights he's invariably played CM. Seems a tidy player but it's difficult ot pinpoint any specific strengths or weaknesses in his game - he's never really caught my eye either way and seems to be progressing steadily. Good luck to the lad, he must be doing something right for Rafa to be choosing him for these CC games.
