There should have been better leadership from the club and Ayre was FSG's man in charge on the ground it rumbled on for far too long damaging the clubs image. It took FSG's intervention to stop that and Ayre should have grasped that nettle early on

Like I said, I could be wrong (although it is 100% true that I don't recall it). I was quite young at the time, and the level of media exposure then is not enything like it is now.

There is a huge difference between them ... they are not even in the same timezone, with respect mate, you dont know what you are taking about, you have some vaild points and assesments of Ayre but most of your assesment of not liking him as a "md" are way off base.... essentially you are nowhere near qualified to make that assesment with respect ballbag
