He doesn't look all that strong, but I haven't noticed it being a problem in games...look at how he bullied Jerome tonight when he was through on goal. He's quite lanky, and a lot of lanky *******s are a hell of a lot stronger than they look. Tbh I struggle to see too much wrong with the kid, looks like Rafa got another good one there

I always wondered why you had david James in you avatar
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Yeah, and he spends half his life in the gym. Or playing Tomb Raider.

He's still young and learning. I would say he's fully grasped the language either.

Give him time you can judge by just one game

Could've quite easily been sent off in the first half, looked very clumsy and flat footed and Agger had to cover him on numerous occasions, bailing him out of trouble.

Ok, he's only 20, but even so, the opposition tonight was second rate at best, and he still looked very, very dodgy.

At first glance i thought we had Hernan Crespo playing at centre half tonight

He has a lot to learn but he has a great teacher in Rafa and for me he looks a real prospect. One thing you can't teach a player is aggression and he has it in abundance and I love that in a central defender.

Did anyone else think the two CD´s lost to many headers in this game?

I didnt mind so much with Paletta but Agger should have done better IMO

He still had a good game though.
