RAFA Benitez is looking to his old club Valencia for a goalkeeper to replace Jose Reina - which should be good news for Charlton boss Iain Dowie.

Scott Carson, on loan from Anfield to The Valley, has been in stunning form recently, and the Addicks' hopes would be dealt a serious blow if he was recalled to Liverpool.

But with the Reds' first-choice keeper Reina out of contract in June, Benitez is targeting Valencia's French 23-year-old reserve goalkeeper Ludovic Butelle, who he brought to Spain from Metz two years ago.
