Liverpool have today confirmed that Momo Sissoko will require surgery on the shoulder injury sustained at Birmingham.
The Mali midfielder returned to Melwood this afternoon where he was again assessed by the club's medical staff.

****, Momo is by far and away our most important player. Without him we just dont have the same solidity.

New centre midfielder likely in the Jan transfer window?

Or a new right midfielder would be better. Allowing Gerrard to move inside.

I reckon he'll return in January on a 6 month free/loan deal like with Robbie last January.

He's not getting a game there - which is why he moved in the first place - and god knows we could use him in the European games where there's simply nobody better in that position.

                    It makes sense.

some good could come of this if Gerrard moves inside and maybe move Bellers out right with Kuyt and Crouchino up top - alternatively Garcia or Pennant could play right.

this could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. COULD. Gerrard back in the middle and hopefully back playing to his best.
