Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Eeek. I thought be two months min. Three months, oh dear.

My mate who i share an office with has dislocated his 9 times! Says the pain was like nothing he's ever experienced in his life - he'd take a break anyday over a dislocated shoulder - a proper morphine effort. Momo has little luck with freak injuries.

All this because of some idiot who has no idea how to tackle

What's worse is that the guy who tackled him shouldn't even have been on the pitch!

He was atrocious in the tackle - not malicious, just can't tackle for pish.

                It makes sense.
                I dont think so

We'll see more of Zenden, Garcia and Pennant now

Big shock and dissapointment. Fingers crossed for a rapid recovery.

Stevie for central role from now on though.

Isn't he really close to a ban as well? So he'll come back, get a booking and be out again? I suggest a cunning plan. Let's have him on the bench in a couple of weeks - send him on in garbage time and instruct him to pick up a booking. That way he'll miss less games. Brilliant or what?
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Have highlighted the games I think we would miss Momo most in. With a bit of luck we could possibly have him back for the chavs game in over 2 months, fingers crossed, up until then our run in isn't that bad. Am now glad we got alot of the tough away games done with early.

Let's not forget this is momo we are talking about, he was back from the eye problem in no time at all. Let's hope he can have the same rapid recovery from this one. I think he'll be back for the Watford game 13th Jan.

I've just had a thought....when is the African Cup Of Nations, isn't it quite soon?

My point being that if Mali hav qualified then Momo would have been away anyway, no?

                                Massive loss

Time for Stevie to prove why he should be in the centre
