2012/13 Season Predictions, Musings and Expectations

So that's it - pre-season is over and the new season starts next week. Excited much?

We've seen the good, the bad and the ugly in pre-season; we look fluid going forward, but a little exposed behind our full-backs. We seem to be pressing in places, but sacrificing our shape and even though we seem to want the ball, there are times when we look static. This is all to be expected as we find our feet, but what do you want from this season? Has all our optimisim been sucked dry, or are you fighting the corner that pessimism is the new realism? If the season ended tomorrow, what finishing position would you take?

    What are your predictions?

    Champions:
    Liverpool finish:
    Teams Relegated:

    Top Scorer:
    Best Buy:
    Biggest flop:
    FA Cup:
    League Cup:
    Champions League:
    Europa League:

Any other predictions you wish to make:

            Really?

I think United will have a mare next year. They have no midfield FFS.

same as every year and they still somehow manage to either win or go close in the league.

For the last few years we've been saying this is the worst United side we've seen and every year they are right up there.

Man City imo will be distracted by the CL, Chelsea will eventually shed Di Matteo, Arsenal and Spurs and still not the finished article.

Plus more than any of the above reasons I have to predict them as winners in the hope of jinxing them

Well that wouldn't surprise me either. Rooney changing the habit of a lifetime will though, he'll do his usual and go through long baren spells though.

Suarez will score more than Rooney next year and you can quote me on that.

That's actually what I thought you were trying to do.

Poor keeper. Question marks over all their defenders. **** or old midfielders. Good wingers. Good forwards. Not enough

As long as there are no side issues with Suarez I think you could be right, he is simply a brilliant footballer.

Rooney whilst being a good player is over-hyped as are most English footballers
