Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Especially since Rodgers has talked about playing a high pressing game, Nothing like that tonight, a few new faces in but what we see on the field hasn't changed much from last season.Wise men talk because they have something to say. fools, because they have to say something.

Does no one feel at all positive after that?
I thought we kept the ball very well in the main and each and every one of them worked hard, there is still room for improvement though of course.
Was very impressed with Robinson and Sterling, Downing was actually quite good when he came on. Agger was comfortable as always, Reina was sharp and bossy and looks to have lost some weight, looks sharper.
Borini worked very hard, ran tirelessly but can improve; was unlucky with the miss. Allen looked a real class act when he came on really looking forward to seeing him progress.
Overall I think we kept hold of the ball very well, Shelvey was probably the most guilty of giving it away but he seems to have great vision and can pick out a pass.
We did dick around with it a bit in defense but it will take time to to get used to things and a new way of playing. I thought when going forward we were pretty good and it's nice to see us try and play the ball and keep it on the ground for a change, thought the passing was nice and crisp.Last edited by Slinky Skills; 23-08-12, 10:05 PM.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. We have alot of the ball in areas where the opposition let us have the ball, - where it won't do them any harm. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It was only Hearts - it's hard to be all that enthusiastic.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostDoes no one feel at all positive after that?

I agree about Reina though, that's a positive. Assuming he stays.

Can't believe the amount of negativity on here. Look at the positives,we won 0-1 away from home and didn't play too well. When other teams do that apparantly it's the mark of a good team.
Let's get behind the team. Some of the possession football towards the end of the 2nd half was impressive.
