Never count Arsenal out. Surely we learnt that last season. They may not have RVP but as we know things take time to click. They have a lot of new players but also quality new players and they may well just need 10 games or so before they start playing like world-beaters.

I like that lineup a lot.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostAgger back which is good, I wonder how Lucas is getting on injury wise?
If no Lucas perhaps the following team? Ideally Lucas will be back in with Allen playing next to Sahin and Gerrard pushed up to one of the front 3 positions.

Johnson.....Skrtel......Agger.....Enrique
.......................Allen...................... .......
...............Gerrad........Sahin.............
.....Borini............................Sterling... ..

Perfect game for Sahin too as he will be pretty pumped to face Podolski again.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Bump.
on page 2.
New signing Nuri Sahin could make his Liverpool debut against Arsenal on Sunday lunchtime. The Turkish international is eligible after moving to Anfield on a season-long loan from Real Madrid this week.
Defender Daniel Agger is available again after serving a one-match domestic ban but midfielder Lucas is out for up to three months with a thigh problem.
Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny returns to the squad for the Premier League clash after he recovered from a calf injury, but goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny faces a fitness test on his rib problem.
Midfielder Jack Wilshere and defender Bacary Sagna are still out injured.
Liverpool Squad: Reina, Kelly, Flanagan, Enrique, Johnson, Skrtel, Coates, Robinson, Carragher, Agger, Gerrard, Downing, Shelvey, Henderson, Allen, Sahin, Suarez, Sterling, Borini, Morgan, Jones.
Arsenal Squad: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Diaby, Cazorla, Walcott, Arteta, Podolski, Gervinho, Fabianski, Arshavin, Ramsey, Giroud, Santos, Djourou, Coquelin.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

That's not a bad looking group just quietly. They just need to take their chances.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Not bad.
Not bad at all. And better than last year so maybe we're improving.
Will he start Sahin? If it was Benitez I'd imagine not but Rodgers seems to be more willing to take risks..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
