I wonder if we'll have enough in our pool of 'cover' and 'development' players to start, or we might have to dip in our 'one to eleven' pot.

Henderson, Allen, Shelvey as our midfield? Sell Adam and Spearing, rest Gerrard.

Exactly what I expect to see.

It will be interesting to see if we will bring Suso (he is not even on the B list but I don't think he has to be) or Adorjan into the squad for this match.

Cannot see us risking Jay and Charlie as both seem to be on the way out.

He is not but I think dww indicated once that he doesn't have to be to enter the squad.

Interesting? I wonder why we need to nominate a squad at all if that's the case. If we sold someone yeah I'd understand a replacement being drafted in.

He tweeted that today he'll have a training session in the morning so he will not play against Hearts.

Also I think we'll start with Borini as he needs to score a goal or two to get his confidence back for Sunday.

I really think Hendo is a player Rodgers can work with

but Hendo, is young agile, athletic, skillful on the ball and he completes his pass's that sounds like a Rodgers player to me

Only thing is Jenkinson is a pacy right back, so I don't know how effective Sterling will be - but if he interchanges with Suarez i think Jenkinson might find it very tough.

Its been suggested that Brendan said Carroll won't play & Suso's not in the squad.
