Just out of his depth - not his fault but his lack of top level physical tools will always count against him.

Probably nervous. His pressing has been good, just a bit rash in the challenge. He's trying too hard by the looks of things. Needs to calm down and get the basics right i.e. simple passes.

Gerrard has looked good so far, as has Downing.
