We still need a striker or two
Downing was ok, Hendo was average played one nice through ball & thought Shelvey had a poor game.

If I was him I'd have looked for a new challenge somewhere else. It's clear he has become complacent and no one seems to be addressing the issue.
        Are we winning?

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Not true. You are, Nigey, you are.

Ahhhh, yes, he was. The score was 1-1. Their goal was entirely his fault, Thereby logically he was at fault for the result surely?

We do need to be more clinical infront of goal, but to be fair we did start with an 18yr old making his debut, and Suarez was really off it in the first half.

The problem is over the last season or so we have been struggling for goals and making sloppy mistakes in defences which is a bad combination. If it was a one off fair enough, but how many games have we wasted chance after chance and the opposition have had one chance and taken it and we have ended up getting a 1-1 draw or losing 1-0. For me this makes it more than a slight worry it is IMO a serious problem that needs addressing.

We were comfortable without looking great until Reina decides to visit fantasy land.

Thought Downing did well at left back and Gerrard looked sharp. A few one touch passes here and there and was continually on the move, often being very measured in terms of his passing.

Put this game aside and focus fully on Arsenal now.

Hendo did OK considering how little he's played IMO. Don't agree about Shelvey though. Had a lovely shot which narrowly missed

                            So to sum up.

We need to score more goals, and we need to stop chucking them in.

Other than that, we are looking great...

It's like starting all over again, really. I don't think these players built any sort of understanding or tactical nous with each other last season.

Not a big fan of Kelly, I have to say. I think we need every player to have vision and ability on the ball and I don't think he has that.
