FFS, I can't comment on anything about last season without you getting your knickers in a twist. The league table does not lie is one of the most boring football cliches of all times.

You clearly can comment on anything you like, but when you're constantly either on the wind up, or just being ridiculously over-negative about everything (it really is hard to tell which), in a way btw that you would have (and did) complained about other posters doing in previous seasons, it really is hard not to react to many of your posts with anything other than derision. Reinas form over a long period now is a worry but if we had someone scoring the countless chances we make he'd be under far less pressure to be perfect then he is right now.

Shelvey - 5. Needs to start playing better in games like these. Won't be getting too many games in the middle now that Sahin and Assaidi are here.
Allen - 6. Looked good but tired in the second half. Still a class-above player.
Henderson 6. Had his usual long periods of disappearing. But 3 unbelievably world class passes showed us glimpses of what we have to come from him.
Gerrard - 5. Like Carra, seems like an old guard. Needs to seriously stop the hollywood balls and change his game/tactics. Quite a difficult thing for an aged old dog.
Suarez - 6. Was on 4 throughout the game but gets the extra 2 points for a) the Torres-esque finish and b) saving our blushes.
Morgan - 3. Sorry, harsh on a young lad but I'm marking him like a pro. Just to be on the pitch was great experience and hopefully he can pick it up from here.

Sterling - 7. Unlucky not to score. Even I couldn't tell when he would take the ball to the line or cut in for a shot. Genuine excitement everytime he had the ball. Would have been a higher rating if he scored.
Borini - not on long enough for a fair rating
