Don't know what comments have said, but that Arsenal goal was easy to prevent.

First Gerrard didn't track back fast enough.

Secondly, and even worse, Allen let Podolski run by him with no effort to track him. Despite looking at him.

Thirdly, Skrtel could have closed down Cazorla quicker.

Fourth, Johnson didn't get goal side of Podolski.

    Comical defending.
    Forwards.......

Exactly its almost as if he just thinks **** it someone else can win the ball back.. The problem is he isn't even good enough when he has the ball any more for us to just overlook his lack of effort.

Wonder if Rodgers will have the bollocks to deal with it? I'd like to see Shelvey on in his place sooner rather than later.

Just inside our half, but in a position where we were struggling for numbers and they ran into loads of space, one through ball and goal.

When was the last time we won at home in the league? Chelsea?

Sahin may have been a bit flat but remember he was injured a lot for Madrid last season and hasn't played much football in the last year or so. It'll take time for everyone to adjust to our new system, we still aren't there yet. Everyone just calm down, smoke a J and love being a Liverpool fan.

Movement! We need it in this half or we'll be on 1 point after 3 games.

Yes, our last home game of last season. Since then we have drawn one against Man City.

Really worryingly awful from SG. What does he add in Rodgers' system? His short passing is worse than his long passing.

Sterling is the real ****in deal. Hope he stays and drives us on to titles and cups in the future. Allen being kept quite but he's still getting the ball forward and taking up good positions. He can't ****in do everything. Borini has a lot to prove and hasn't proved anytime today...
Sahin has some nice skills and touches bug it's nuts expecting too much from him today.

Overall, disappointing to be down but we're a new team. No reason to be downhearted for me. I believe in Rodgers. My faith in SG is shaken though.

Simples, just bring on a couple of strikers...........

As for attack. Suarez & Borini have been poor at controlling the ball & allowing defenders to compose themselves and get in position.

General build up play we've been fine, but in the final third a better touch is required.

Anyway, Sterling with get the sacker sent off and we'll win this.

                              Poor certainly.

                              We're missing Lucas.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

The lack of movement is the biggest problem but this will take a lot of time to implement. We can't expect to play like Barcelona straight away.
