Players still learning. **** to lose, but not unexpected at the moment. We need a striker. Same old **** really.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Because we're playing a thinking game and tbf his greatness has been from instinct and desire along with good technical abilities, my view anyway

Crap that, had the usual pre season optimism but we've been spineless and **** for 3 years now so dunno why I was expecting Brendan to change it with 25m and having to reduce the wage bill. Ah well.

Reina should have had both of those, saying that though we never looked like scoring

Starting Sahin cost us the game imo.

Knowing our luck Michael Owen will reject us for the bitters.

We still haven't bottomed out....it's going to be a very long road to recovery, if at all.

No reason for optimism for me, there is no scope for improvement with the current system and players in place. There are just no goals in that team.
We have been stretched when behind and chasing a game against a good side set up for counter attack. Before we had to try and chace the game, we were the better side but conceded through a mistake. We lost because our attackers were wank.

Borini will not get 5 goals the way he's playing. Suarez is not a goalscorer. Gerrard is no longer a goalscorer.

The only two players who looked up for it were Sterling and Shelvey. Young and fearless. The rest have played like wimps, Suarez included.

Really shocking display that midfield got dominated today. Easy 3 points for an arsenal team that only had to be on cruise control. Reina & Gerrard need to be dropped.. a statement has to be made, too many costly mistakes in every game.

Allen & Sterling came out of this game with heads held high & Shelvey done very well, Johnson was ok too even though he was asleep for first goal. Borini for me looks technically woeful and hasn't got clue what to do out wide. Suarez well.... we just can't rely on him to score goals, his passing and link play is so bad.

Not getting attacking options in the window and then selling Carroll was literally football suicide! Poor start to season, good old fortress Anfield can't buy a win there! We have some serious problems and the fact we can't address our attacking issues until January is a massive issue for us.

                      Can only blame ourselves.

Sterling is 17. The rest of them should have learnt it by now. Its stupid simple schoolboy errors that cost us there.

Gerrard was poor but its no coincedence that he improved with Jonjo on the pitch.

Come on 'calm' people. Reassure us that we didn't need a striker or two. Please, do it.

We were not the better side. Arsenal gave us what they wanted to give. We barely created any chances. Even if you take away the two goals, Arsenal probably had the 3rd, 4th and 5th best chances.
