I'm that way, I've got a lot of faith in the manager but I've kind of written this season off already. I know that contradicts itself a bit but he really did get done over badly on deadline day and it's clearly going to have a hugely damaging impact. We've got games every midweek and no quality back up in attack, meanwhile the actual first choice attack is relying on a 17 year old and 21 year old. I reckon he'll get it right but theres going to be some **** times first.

            As witty as ever. Anyway.....

Martin O’Neill says he’s not yet sure whether Adam Johnson will be fit to face Liverpool this weekend.

The winger was named in the England squad for the recent internationals but returned to Wearside with an injury.

Johnson, who joined Sunderland from Manchester City last month, has been doing some work on the training ground but O’Neill is unsure whether the new boy will be available for selection.

Asked about Johnson’s chances for the weekend’s game, O’Neill said: “Adam is progressing quite nicely, which is good, but I don’t know yet.

“He’s done some work with a couple of the other injured players, including Phil Bardsley and Wes Brown.

“It’s too early to know whether he’ll be available but it would be great if he could make it.”

Hopefully he's out, not sure I trust Enrique against him at the moment.

When it comes to wit and charm, he's no Chris that's for sure.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Rodgers is doing a pre-match press conference now which is live on LFCTV. Instead of sitting in front of the usual LFC backdrop, the background is completely black. Is that in relation to the 96? Or have they cocked it up?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Strange to think that many of the players in the match day squad will not have been born when Hillsborough happened. However, I would expect the players to understand the gravity of current situation and make an appropriate statement on the field.

It's good to have proper football back. Bollocks to those internationals!

We survived them injury free didn't we? If so I'd go with Allen Sahin and Gerrard in the midfield 3.

I'd also like to see Borini played through the middle with Suarez on the outside.

                            Anyone know the Assaidi situation?
The times they are a changin'.

Tipped to be on the bench. Can't wait to see him get a decent run out too.

I get the feeling he's going to be the new Garcia! Frustrating but highly creative and unpredictable too!
