Thanjk you.

Basically saying he's in the 20 man squad and that two will miss out. Doesn't seem like he knows if he will be one of the two. Hope he at least makes it onto the bench.
His suspension for the reserves is up so he would have been cleared to play his first game against Chelsea tonight. Would be a strange decision to bring him if he wont even be on the bench.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
Shame about Kelly and Johnson, but no great shakes - I just really want Johnson on the right. No Sahin isn't much of a surprise given how off the pace he looked against Arsenal. The rest of the team pretty much picks itself.
The only way Sahin is gonna get fit is by playing, surely?
I suppose the international break hasn't helped. Again.
True. I just think that he looked so off the pace against Arsenal that he needed a couple of training sessions together with the first team; the international break - as always - came at the wrong time.
Perhaps a run out in the Europa League and a weeks worth of training at Melwood would put him in contention for Man Utd. Maybe Rodgers is looking at the physicallity of Sunderland, but I'm just guessing.

Yup, I think you're right.
Shelvey deserves a start at the moment too, he's had a good start to the season.
Has Henderson started for us this season? Just the two games against Hearts?

Henderson hasn't had much of a look in and when he has, he's been played out of position (that, or he naturally drifts out of the game and out wide). I thought he'd be well suited this season, but the apparent attempt to sell him to Fulham for peanuts makes me wonder. [And no MattShark, please don't feel compelled to reply to this].
You're right about Shelvey though - definitely earned his spot. Hopefully we will see Gerrard respond to that and build on what I understand was a good display for England.
Did Sahin not play any international football during the last week or so? Just checked, he was sub vs Estonia and played 10 mins.
Did they have a game before that?
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Didn't see the England game but it'd be nice to have a performance from Gerrard tomorrow.
I like Henderson and I agree that the 4-3-3 system should be ideal for him. I know it's early days but I think he'll be off next summer tbh.

They played - and lost - to Holland 2-0.
However, trying to find a line-up on the cluster**** that is now the BBC Sport's website, I have no idea how much game time he got.
